  1. Beat cheese and butter together.
  2. Add mashed garlic to cheese, mixing well.
  3. Add finely chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Chill slightly and form into ball or logs.
  5. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigerate or freeze.
  7. Slice as needed, and serve with toast.
