Highball a Classic!

"I don't see any one order these any more. They are very good. I remember making these for my parents before I can drink. I use Segram's V.O. whiskey but use what whiskey you like."

  1. 8! reviews! What a shame. Gentleman Jack, homemade ginger ale, maybe a maraschino cherry, doesn't get much better or simpler. Childhood memories here, as well, Dad was a part-time bartender, Mom rarely drank and either a Ginbuck or this was it for her.

  2. Nice drink! I used Seagrams V O as suggested and it was a very nice and light cocktail. Did not taste like alcohol at all. Dangerous! This was easy and tasty! Thanks Rita for another great drink! Cheers!

  3. Love this one, it brings back so many childhood memories when my parents entertained and would make these for their guest and we kids would always sneak a sip, I recently was visiting a Canadian friend and low and behold she served this refreshing classic. Thanks for the post and the memories.
