      I made this for my birthday and it came out great. I added toffee chips as well as pecans and chocolate chips to the cake and my family loved it and so did I. Thank you very much for a great recipe and for a great birthday cake. This is a chocolate lovers dream cake.

      If you're looking for a dessert that will make you into a super star, this is the ticket! It's pure, unadulturated, milk chocolate heaven! And, it's easy to make, too. The only change I made was to omit the pecans so one of my guests could it, and added one cup of dark chocolate chips in their place. I sprinkled it with powdered sugar, which was a beautiful effect. This is a sure winner! Thanks SO much for posting this, Realtor! Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

      I made this the other night for family....it is killer! Son-in-law, who is not a dessert or sweet-lover, had a piece for breakfast the next morning! Just make sure the bundt pan is big enough. Mine was apparently too small and oozed like a volcano at first, but I was able to scoop out extra batter and cook it to perfection! Anyone who loves chocolate will love this cake. TIP: I used PAM "baking" spray to prepare the pan and it did not disappoint--cake popped out easily!

      Really a lovely pound cake. I appreciated the specific instructions about beating times (since that can make all the difference). I also liked the buttermilk, which gave it a rich flavor and complemented the chocolate nicely. I will be making this again. Made for Please Review My Recipe Tag Game.
