  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 13x9 pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs well.
  4. Gradually add sugar; beating until blended.
  5. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  6. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add flour mixture to egg mixture; beating until well blended.
  8. Spread batter into pan.
  9. Bake 10 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle candy bits over the top.
  11. Bake additional 20 to 25 minutes until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
  12. Cool completely on wire rack before cutting into bars.
