Found some LARGE Granny Smiths for this recipe the other day, so was generous with the filling! Thought the flavor combination of sultanas & orange was GREAT! Definitely gonna make these again! Thanks for sharing a REALLY GREAT recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's PAC]

I made this as directed using 4 granny smith apples and Classic Pie Crust, Idiot Proof Step-By-Step Photo Tutorial (our favorite also). Using the food processor, I pulsed the peeled grapes (sultanas), orange rind, marmalade, and butter to get a finer consistancy for the filling. This recipe is so simple to put together, yet so company worthy as folks will think you slaved in the kitchen all day. Fancy and delicious, especially the flavor using marmalade, a definite keeper recipe. Thanks for posting.
