      Well, except for the hardwood smoked bacon (I used what I could find at the grocery store), I pretty much followed your recipe, although I'll admit to adding a bit more molasses than indicated!, & if you've got the time, this is a great way to have absolutely delicious baked beans! Definitely worth the time if you have special company! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current round of Pick A Chef]
