great over fish
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce with onion
- 1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1 dash pepper
- 1⁄4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- In saucepan combine tomato sauce with chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, sugar, salt, oregano, and pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
- Spoon over fish.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
