Absolutely delicious! There is something special about red potatoes and green beans. Add some garlic, basil, olive oil, chicken broth, salt and pepper and you can color me happy! I added the frozen green beans to the boiling potaotes for the last 3-4 minutes and drained them together. Yummy!!
REALLY delicious. I have to admit I got confused about when to put in the garlic. Are you supposed to boil them with the potatoes? I didn't want raw garlic in there, so I just put in a bunch of garlic powder when I put in the basil. It was DELISH! Even my 2 year old had a serving. Thanks for sharing (and if you can, let me know what to do with that garlic!) THANKS!
Oh these are so good! I cooked my red potatoes to the point were they could just about lose their shape when stirred (very tender). I cooked the beans on my cooktop also until quite tender. When stirred together with the rest of the ingredients list ~ they make an awesome combo!! Thanks so much for this wonderful side dish, Paula!!
Made this with garden-fresh ingredients and since the "sauce" was very much like pesto and I had a pesto recipe I wanted to try; the result was outstanding. I used Pesto Amato #123882. Wonderful vegetable combination, PaulaG.
Yum!! These were excellent. Both DH & I really enjoyed these potatoes. I used frozen green beans and threw them in with the potatoes during the last few minutes of cook time. This is a keeper! Thanks Paula!
This was good. But I made a few minor changes. I used fresh green beans and blanched them. I also had a little bit of garlic salt added in. Otherwise I made as directed and it was very good. I liked the combo of textures and flavors in addition to the herbs. I made this with baked chicken, but i think it will go well with any meat as a main course, especially fish. Thanks for the easy and different side dish.
