This goes well with any kind of meat.
- Saute the the thyme in the butter in a skillet for 5 minutes.
- Add onions and salt.
- Cook covered for 15 minutes or until tender.
- Serve with any kind of meat.
Mmmmm, onions. LOL I made these to go with a steak and they were lovely.
This made a nice change from the plain old fried onions that I usually serve over BBQ'd steak. The addition of thyme cut the sweetness of the Vidalia onions. Thanx Theresa !!
