  • Preheat oven 325 degrees.
  • Cut up bread into cubes.
  • Soak bread in milk.
  • Add all ingredients, to bread and milk, mix well.
  • Butter glass pan (9 x 14).
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake about 1 hour- Puffs up when done.

  1. this is a wonderful dish and the sherry really gives it a nice flavor . i used the pignoli and currants, this was better than dessert!
     
  2. Absolutely delicious, and it couldn't have been easier to make. I used the bits of crust left over on the cutting board, along with a sprinkling of brown sugar and a couple splashes of sherry, as a topping. Give this a try, it's wonderful!
