This is a very good Swiss Torta, the recipe was given to me years ago by a neighbor. She always brought us some when she made it.
Directions:

Preheat oven 325 degrees.

Cut up bread into cubes.

Soak bread in milk.

Add all ingredients, to bread and milk, mix well.

Butter glass pan (9 x 14).

Pour into pan.

Bake about 1 hour- Puffs up when done.

Absolutely delicious, and it couldn't have been easier to make. I used the bits of crust left over on the cutting board, along with a sprinkling of brown sugar and a couple splashes of sherry, as a topping.
Give this a try, it's wonderful!
