- 1⁄4 cup hot pepper
- 6 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups cider vinegar
- 8 ounces liquid pectin
- paraffin wax
- red food coloring

- Tie pepper in cloth and cook with other ingredients.
- Mix and boil for 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and letset for 5 minutes.
- Add pectin.
- Put in jelly jars or pt. jars, seal and cover with melted paraffin.
- Real good with crackers with cream cheese and then the jelly.
- Be sure to add food colouring.
