Like most recipes you read online...I added. Used half a bottle of H57 and threw in a touch of vino. And peppers...because. Also some corn starch at the end to give it some thickness. Nice taste, the family enjoyed it.

  1. Brown meat on all sides in hot oil.
  2. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. Stir in gravy, tomatoes, 57 sauce, garlic, bay leaves, thyme and pepper.
  4. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  5. Cover; simmer for 1 hour.
  6. Add carrots and onions; simmer 20 minutes more.
  7. Stir in mushrooms.
  8. Simmer 15 minutes more or until meat and vegetables are tender.
  9. Remove bay leaf; discard.
  10. Season to taste.
  11. Sprinkle with parsley.
