Another great Cool Whip salad. Prep time does not include chill time which is 1 hour.
- 1 (8 3/4 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 2 cups Cool Whip
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1⁄4 cup chopped maraschino cherry
- 3 tablespoons milk
- Mix everything together in a large bowl.
- Chill about 1 hour.
Growing up, my grandma used to bring this to every holiday dinner and we loved it! She passed on about 10 years ago and this recipe was lost. I recently found her old cookbooks and was happy to find the recipe here. Thanks so much for posting this! Brings back lots of happy memories!

You can't get an easier or more versatile recipe as this! This stuff is absolutely magnificent. It's light and airy and a great dessert after a heavy meal or at brunch. For Christmas I doubled the recipe using 1/4 red cherries and 1/4 green cherries for a more colorful approach. You can also add about 3 ounces of softened cream cheese for a slightly richer flavor. Very Good!
