I made this one evening when I was hungry and needed something hearty, no-fuss, quick and preferably healthy! This smoothie will really keep you going for hours, trust me!
- 1⁄2 banana, cut into chunks
- 1⁄8 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup cold milk or 1⁄2 cup skim milk or 1⁄2 cup soymilk
- 1 tablespoon hershey strawberry syrup
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1⁄2 cup ice cube
- Put everything in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and drink!
Another winner! WTG, Anu! I made this for breakfast this morning and can you believe, I made 2 servings: one for me and one for my uncle(and he is 65yrs of age!). We both enjoyed it. I did substitute the wheat germ with oats. After hunting all over town for strawberry syrup(Hershey's), I couldn't find it to my complete dissapointment, so, I thought of trying out another brand known as "Teisseire". This brand is DEEEELICCCIOUS!! This was very enjoyable, I loved it, Anu! Thank you! And, ALL THE BEST for your upcoming exams!
