An easy bread that doesn't use yeast. Good for breakfast toasted with butter.

This is a wonderful tasting bread, that is easy to make.However I had to use a lot more flour, and there was realy no way to knead it. I just used my Bench Scraper to keep turning it and working in the flour.( the dough is realy quite wet) I think next time I will just keep stirring it ,Like I do with my beer bread.

  1. Mix flour, salt, soda, sugar and butter.
  2. Put in egg and sour milk and mix well.
  3. Turn out onto a breadboard and knead it a little, then put in a pan and bake.
  4. To a nice golden brown in a 350 oven 25-30 minutes.
