These turned out very tasty, although I modified mine some. I used only 2 egg whites and substituted with half a cup of ground flaxseed and hot water then added pureed pumpkin and a dash of olive oil! I also mixed up the 2 c. of flour with rolled oats, rye, and all purpose flour. So tasty and the orange juice added a really interesting flavor
These were somewhat bland and tended to stick to my waffle iron, even after I greased it well. Don't think we'll make these again.
Turned out pretty good, but thought they were a tad bit bland. Added 1/2 cup of ground flax to the flour (and decreased white flour by 1/2 cup) just to up the nutritional value a bit. They are very light and fluffy, which is great. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Great! I made these for myself and a "regular" batch from another recipe for the kids. These were the best and you'd never know they weren't bad for you. I'll just make these next time.
I'm always looking for a healthier way to bake things. This recipe is great. I used peach mango juice instead of orange (since that was all we had), and they still turned out great. Thanks!
This is my new favorite waffle recipe! I loved the flavor and the nice crispness. For half of them I added mini chocolate chips. Not as healthy as intended, but very tasty and my 4 year old who spent most of last night at the ER with an injury requested them, so I went with it. And they were lovely with the chips too. Fabulous recipe!
I loved these waffles. I had never eaten yogurt with waffles before, but I don't much care for syrup so I tried it paired with orange marmalade and it was great! Thanks
Great taste, Easy to make, I added crushed pecans and the family loved them. Thanks for posting a healthy waffle recipe...this is my new waffle recipe!
