  • Grease inside of lasagna pan.
  • Cover bottom with layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
  • Cover with layer of spaghetti sauce.
  • Cover with layer of ground meat, if using.
  • Cover with layer of cottage cheese.
  • Cover with layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • Keep layering until all ingredients are used.
  • Cover top with extra sauce and cheese.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasonings and ground pepper.
  • Place in cool oven (do not preheat).
  • Bake at 375 degrees for one hour.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

I live in the heart of Manhattan. I work as a nurse practitioner in a busy urban medical center in the neurosurgery department, specializing in complex spinal surgery. For fun I enjoy cooking, crocheting, and scrapbooking. My favorite cookbook is my grandmother's old Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook (3-ring binder) from 1961! I also love my "corn-free" cookbook since I am allergic to all corn products. Someday I would love to start a business making brochures and invitations.
