This recipe is posted for the ZWT and is adapted from the book “Quick and Healthy “Recipes and Ideas”. This recipe differes from all those listed here in that it uses skim milk and non fat plain yogurt instead of milk, bringing the calories way down :) ZWT REGION: USA.
- 8 ounces nonfat plain yogurt (225g)
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate (170g)
- 2 1⁄2 cups skim milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
I love Orange Juliuses and the yogurt was a good addition (I'm always looking to include more yogurt in my diet). It really did make it less watery and more frothy. I used a fresh squeezed juice and added a few shakes of powdered sugar. Thanks Kiwidutch for posting. Roxygirl Roxygirl
