I made this as a bread excellent !!
Really tasty muffins grrlee. I used white whole wheat flour and 4 small bananas (since you specifically said large bananas). I also used the flax meal and I'm glad I did. It added a certain nuttiness. These were lighter than I would have expected with these ingredients. Thanks. A great breakfast treat!
An impressive healthier muffin. Very moist and full of flavor. I love the texture the oats added. Putting this recipe in the "make again" folder.
Love these!Did reduce the oil and salt by half and they turned out great, best muffin ive made in ages
These are great! Right now I am having a little trouble with the wheat flour because I am pregnant and for some reason it grosses me out when I am pregnant but since that is a short time issue I have no complaints. This is a really healthy recipe that also tastes great. I made exactly as written but could imagine that this recipe could be easily modified to your tastes (ie, adding nuts etc.). The texture is great and everyone in the family loved them! THanks for the grrrreat recipe Grrlee......
Really enjoyed these. Added 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/3 cup chocolate chips. I agree, if you don't put some in, they wouldn't be as good.
I love this recipe, and I feel good giving my 4 1/2yr old something homemade and delicious. I added a little more oatmeal than the recipe stated and 4 bananas and it turned out really well.
This is a good recipe! I added 1 tsp. cinnamon. I think next time I'll increase the applesauce and decrease/omit the oil to lose a few more grams of fat. Thanks for sharing!
I liked that these are a good source of fiber and are not as unhealthy as other muffins. I only added a little coconut flakes to the batter. Next time I'll reduce the amount of salt though since my mom and husband said that they were just a tad salty. (but they can taste just about any amount of salt in a dish--drives me nuts) I will make these again.
