I make this one and it was delicious
I recommend to add some nuts that makes it more delicious
Yumyum! I've never thought of using yogurt like this before. I actually made these with English muffins and a bit of honey instead of artificial sweeteners. I also used dried cranberries instead of raisins. I forgot to add the cinnamon but I definitely will next time. This was so tasty! Thanks!
Marvelous, Ethan. What a great idea. I didn't use the sweetener or sugar and didn't miss it a bit. I used Greek yogurt and think it's particularly appropriate in that it's quite a bit thicker than most yogurts. I'm going to have this for breakfast often. It's the perfect balance of carbs and protein for my needs when served on whole wheat toast.
This was okay. I think I put too much cinnamon on. I ate this with a pear, that was nice. So I think it was my fault, not the recipe's. I'll definitely try it again though, and thanks for the idea! UPDATE - I tried this with cottage cheese, and I found I didn't even need sugar, thanks to the sweetness of the fruit which brought out the cinnamon anyway. But then, I don't really have a sweet tooth so most people would probably still want to sweeten it up. Also I used a crumpet, and put the cinnamon underneath the cheese, so that the cinnamon soaked into the hot crumpet. It's yummy!
Ethan, after viewing Bergy's photo of your recipe--I wanted to try it. Yum! Did some tweating. Toasted bread like Bergy, used glops of vanilla yogurt; soaked my raisins in orange juice while toasting; added some fresh orange zest and sprinkled flavored coffee creamer *swiss cinnamon*. Hope you don't mind, Ethan. Excellent recipe!! Thanks so much.
This is absolutely fabulous, quick easy and ingredients always in the house - Not only that it tastes so darn good! I toasted the bread (I keep my bread in the freezer) and liked the toasted texture. I used No Fat Bulgarian yogurt. Thank you Ethan B UK for domething that will be a breakfast regular
