This recipe is posted for the ZWT and is adapted from the book “Quick and Healthy “Recipes and Ideas”. ZWT REGION: Caribbean.
- 1⁄2 small banana
- 1⁄2 cup skim milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 ice cubes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sugar (or artificial sweetener to taste)
- Blend first 4 ingredients until smooth.
- Sweeten to taste.
I used almond milk and didn't have almond extract so used vanilla. Thanks for a yummy, healthy breakfast drink!
I love it! Except I used 2 % milk, vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, 3/4 banana, unsweetened cocoa and thats it :) no sugar or ice added. Thanks for the recipe
I really enjoyed this milkshake. I added a dash of cinnamon which was very tasty. Will make it again. Thanks for sharing.
