- 236.59 ml butter, softened
- 236.59 ml rapadura
- 2 eggs
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 118.29 ml flax seed, ground
- 118.29 ml rye flakes
- 414.03 ml whole wheat pastry flour
- 4.92 ml redmond's real salt
- 4.92 ml aluminum free baking soda
- 118.29 ml pecans, chopped
- 473.18 ml ghiradelli 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cream softened butter. Add sugar in gradually and beat until creamy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, and flax seeds.
- In a separate bowl, mix together rye flakes, flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Grdually mix flour mixture into butter mixture.
- Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Drop the batter by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet (preferrably one made from stoneware). Bake about 10 minutes.
