Healthier Banana Bread

Made with whole wheat flour, oatmeal and greek yogurt, this bread is guilt free and perfect for breakfast too! My favorite is toasting a slice and topping with some all natural peanut butter for a perfect way to start the day!

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients including flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. Set aside.
  3. Stir together mashed bananas, eggs, oil, syrup, yogurt and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Mix just until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, or chopped walnuts, if desired!
  6. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes.
  8. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes and turn out onto cooling rack before slicing and enjoying!
