Hawaiian Turkey Burgers

"Makes the usually bland ground turkey breast very tasty. I think I got this from a Taste of Home publication -- it originally called for regular ground turkey, but I use ground turkey breast to make it lower in calories and fat."

  1. What can I say? DELISH ! Ive actually made these several times but forgot to rate. I follow the receipe exactly and its yummy every time. Even my picky eater loves this.

  2. I made these for Bunco last night and everyone wanted the recipe. The only changes I made are that I used fresh pineapple and instead of basting with teriyaki sauce I used Fischer & Wieser's Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce.

  3. Very good! I used yellow peppers instead of red and ground chicken instead of turkey. I really liked the grilled pineapple served with each burger instead of the usual tomato. Will make again.

  4. These came out better than I expected... not dry, and good taste. I made only made one change: to add an egg into the mix because my first rolled burger didn't hold together as well as I wanted it to. Our breadcrumbs are very fine, maybe I should have added more instead of the egg. Never mind, the result is what counts! These are yummy. DH isn't a fan of chicken or turkey much but this would go down ok every now and again with him. For just me I could make it more often. Please see my rating system, a lovely 4 stars ! Thanks :)

  5. We're usually not turkey burger fans but I bought some on a whim and with the heat knew I woudn't be making spaghetti with it. I found this searching for burger recipes and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it has FLAVOR. I used green pepper instead of red but otherwise did everything as stated. They were wonderful and the pineapple was a nice topping.
