These were quite yummy! We just used store-bought meatballs and red peppers instread of green, and this was tasty! The sweet sauce tasted great over rice!people found this review Helpful. Excellent job! I cut this recipe down to serve 2 and used sushi rice that was first browned in butter and then cooked in chicken stock. I also garnished the final plate with scallion tops and cashews. The wife LOVED it! "Better than any take out she could find in town!"people found this review Helpful. I liked the sauce for this recipe, it had a nice mild pineapple flavour. I used canned pineapple in place of fresh. I haven't tried making meatballs without bread crumbs before and the texture was actually quite good. However, there wasn't enough seasoning for me, so next time I would probably use my own meatball recipe instead. Thanks!people found this review Helpful.
