Here is a coffee to inspire tropical dreams.


  1. Brew the coffee and water.
  2. Lightly brown the grated coconut in a saucepan.
  3. Pour the hot coffee and coconut milk into a glass.
  4. Sweeten as/if desired.
  5. Stir.
  6. Top with the toasted grated coconut and serve.

Aaaaargh! My toasted coconut refused to float! It sank straight to the bottom.
I have mixed feelings about the flavor of this. I would probably have preferred something spicier, but it's very nice for those who like coconut. Thanks for posting. Made for ZWT Witchin Kitchen.

Very creamy and delicious. I added a Tbsp of sugar since my coffee was very strong. My coconut "drowned" as well. Next time I will take the advice and froth the coconut milk so the toasted coconut has something to float on. ZWT 7.
