  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 12 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 14 cup butter, melted
  • 12 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour

directions

  • Proof yeast in water.
  • Add sugar; mix in egg; add melted butter.
  • Add pineapple juice.
  • Add salt to flour.
  • Add flour to sugar mixture.
  • Knead for 10 minutes.
  • Let rise until doubled.
  • Make into rolls.
  • Let rise until doubled. I used an 8 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes until done (browned).

  1. This was perfect. My husband said better than the store. I cut the recipe in half. I made the dough in the bread machine, then rolled it out just enough to put it in a square baking pan before cutting the dough so I pull it apart when done. I brushed the top with milk before putting in the oven. I cooked it on 350 for 35 minutes, then turned the oven on and propped it open and let it sit until we were ready to eat (a few hours). Came out beautifully and just the right amount of sweetness.
     
  2. This is the perfect flavor... Except it made biscuits not soft rolls. I proofed the yeast only it says 1tbsp... I used an envelope packet
