Very similar to what is served at Universal. We did it twice, once with regular cream soda and once with diet. The regular cream soda made for a richer, sweeter drink, like at the park. But the kids couldn't finish it. They actually liked the diet better. They didn't have to sip that ? I made a double batch because we are a family of 6. The leftovers were fantastic in coffee, as suggested by another reviewer.
My son has been really curious about Butterbeer while reading the Harry Potter books. He decided to make it today to find out just what it was like. We thought it tasted a lot like a butterscotch float. Very sweet and creamy.
This tastes really good! My daughter and I decided to try this, so we ended up only using half of the sauce. The other half went into our coffees in the morning and we liked it just as much as in the cream soda. I could see using the sauce as a dessert topping as well. Thanks for a great recipe!
Awesome! we went to Universal as well, and had the butter beer at the Wizarding world of Harry Potter, and it was just like it. My husband actually said this recipe is better because its not as gassy. Great job in mastering it.
Delicious!!! I've tried this recipe and it is amazing- it has such a warm taste, perfect for the holidays!
This is a great drink! Great for your Harry Potter themed party. Thanks for the fabulous recipe. Made for New Kids on the Block Tag Game.
