This is one option to finish off a traditional Christmas pudding
- Cream butter and icing sugar until light and almost white.
- Slowly drizzle in brandy continuing to beat.
- Serve with hot Christmas pudding.
This is how my family has always made it, going back to before my grandmother's time. I tend to use different types of alcohol for a change - rum, Southern Comfort, Drambuie are all great. It is delicious on mince pies too.
