This is a traditional Middle Eastern dip, if you've ever had a falafel or eaten at a Greek or Persian restaurant you probably have had hummus. Served with pita and sliced veggies this is a great dip for parties or just for you!
- 1⁄2 cup garbanzo beans
- 1⁄4 cup tahini
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper

- In a blender add all ingredients except the paprika and salt and pepper.
- Blend ingredients into a paste.
- Add salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
- *Note if the mixture is too bland add more lemon juice, if it is too thick add some warm water, and if it's just delicious enjoy with sliced pita bread or some of your favorite veggies.
