Shalom shalom! II can describe this recipe in two words : HAVE.MERCY. Well I have more than two words actually : ) This pastry recipe is absolutely out of this world. Todah rabah for sharing it! This is not just a cookie...it's like a mini pie crust from heaven. This will my recipe for Hamantashen forever. I didn't make the filling listed in the recipe so I can't review the filling, but I can tell you this pastry is perfect. It's "lightly" sweet. My husband said it needed more sugar, but I thought it was perfect. Our 14 year old son (who's a chef in the making) loved it and said that the pastry was very satisfying.. The flavor and flaky consistency is absolutely amazing. A must try!
