I followed the ingredients and directions exactly. It came out a little thicker than I expected, but it was really good!! My husband said he would like it over toast.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb ground beef, of your choice (we like turkey)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 14 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • mushroom, sliced (optional)

Directions

  1. In large skillet, cook ground meat, onion& butter until meat is cooked& onion is tender.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, garlic salt, pepper& mushrooms.
  3. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in mushroom soup.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered.
  7. Stir in sour cream & heat thoroughly.
  8. Serve over hot, buttered noodles.
