We had this meal at a friends house and really enjoyed it, so we can home and reworked a recipe I found on the internet. This is what we came up with. A very yummy meal that all will enjoy!
- 118.29 ml minced onion
- 59.14 ml butter or 59.14 ml margarine
- 453.59 g ground beef
- 29.58 ml flour
- 2.46 ml salt
- 1.23 ml pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 236.59 ml sour cream
- 177.44 ml milk
- Brown beef and drain, set aside.
- Saute onion in butter on low heat until golden brown.
- Stir in beef, flour, salt and pepper.
- Saute' 5 minutes and add undiluted soup, sour cream and milk.
- Simmer for 10 minutes or until heated.
- Serve over cooked wide noodles.
This needs much more flavor,spices..I would use Cream Mushroom soup and some beef broth/Aju..This was just to bland as written..sorry..
This was very good and easy, but I changed it a lil. After i browned the hamburger, i strained it, and cooked the onions in a little bit of the hamburger grease all in the same pot. I cooked them long enought to sweat so i could still have a little crunch in them. I then added the drained hamburger my taste of salt and pepper, and added in a can of cream of mushroom soup. I found it odd to add in the cream of chicken since i was using hamburger. I added in more milk and flour to stretch it out a bit, and let it boil just slightly to get it to thicken more. I served it over Linguine noodles, and it was excellent.
this is so good!!!.i only added 1/3 cup of sour cream,that's all i had.i liked the fact it didn't call for anything really fancy and the ingredents are something that i usually keep on hand.this will be a main dish that i will serve often. thank you for posting.
