Great recipe. I usually have these things on hand so it makes for a quick meal!! Reminds me of Hamburger Helper.

Great weeknight dinner. Used fresh mushrooms and garlic and a can of beef broth instead of water. Tossed in a chug of red wine, and doubled the worcestershire sauce. However I think next time I will thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch.

Such an easy recipe that comes together in no time. I did make some changes, used leftover roast beef and used beef broth instead of water. I will be making this one often. Tou could also sub chicken or ham easily for a different take and maybe add some cheese. Thanks for posting!!

Yummy and my family loved it - even though it has the dreaded mushrooms in it! My only complaint is that it could have more sauce, but I didn't measure out my noodles, just cooked a bag. Will make again!

I needed a quick dinner the other night and this worked out just fine. Tasted great and easy to make with stuff I always have on hand. Leftovers were good for lunches at work. Made as posted.

I wanted a recipe without the proverbial cream of mushroom soup and this one fit the bill. The only change I made was to use a cup of beef broth instead of water. I think that extra flavor really brought it all together. I also added about a teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Very easy to make and on the table in less than an hour. Thanks for a great recipe!

Awesome! I mixed everything together, and instead of simmering it, threw it in a casserole dish and baked it at 350 for about 30 min! Yummy!!!! Thanks!

This is very similar to a recipe I got from a Lipton's recipe booklet. (only change I make is to cut the sour cream back to 1/2 C, add 1 1/2 cups water and use fresh mushrooms). I was going to post it myself but got so tired of researching Zaar to see if it was already listed, that I gave up. I like it because it tastes great and doesn't have cream of mushroom soup in it which should cut the fat and calories (or so I tell myself). Highly recommend this one! Yum!!
