I made this ahead and froze it and it reheated well, except that the potatoes were kind of mushy(but I was warned that might happen). Nice thick stew.

This was easy to make and tasted very good. I generally have ground beef cooked up and in the freezer, so this helped speed this dish up. I also used my homemade tomato juice. Served this with some cornbread for a nice fall meal. Made Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup (July '10-Dec '10)

This was fantastic!!!! Just what I was looking for. Not much in the pantry but this did not call for much. I did however add 1 clove of garlic diced and a little garlic salt and a DASH of chili powder! I cut the milk down to 1 and 3/4 cups. everything eles exactly as stated. I made homemade bread and it was great !!!! It was better than great!!! Thanks a bunch. def a keeper!!!!!!
