Good cold weather recipe. Also good to make ahead and reheat. I often make it the night before and just reheat it the next night for supper.

  1. brown meat and drain well.
  2. Peel and chop potatoes and carrots into stew size pieces and place in a large pot.
  3. Cover with water.
  4. Add the rest of ingredients, cover and simmer 2-3 hours.
  5. This recipe is very good reheated.
