This is my first recipe to try and it sure is a winner. Very easy and the sauce is so tasty. My husband and I were licking the platter. My family all gave this a 5-star rating. Thank-you so much.

A very easy and tasty meal. The sauce has a great flavor. The worcestershire sauce is the secret to its success. The family gave it a big thumbs up and said that we could have it again.

There is nothing zingy or exotic about this dish - it is just simple, easy comfort food. We will be making this again.

My husband a I loved the sauce for this dish. I used cooking spray instead of the oil and omitted the veggies because my husband doesn't like them. Thank you.

A very good start. The meat needs something more than just salt and pepper. I did add garlic. Some thyme or rosemary or something needs to be add to the meat

Our plans changed for the evening so I needed something quick and easy. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add the green pepper. I did cook mine a bit longer. I cooked mine for about thirty minutes in the sauce. I thought these might taste a bit better if they "soaked" in the sauce longer.

I learned to make this recipe in 8th grade home ec (a few decades ago!) It's delicious! I always add some minced garlic, seasoned bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese to the ground meat. I serve this over rice for a yummy meal.

Hubby and I made this for lunch today and Boy O Boy was this a great hearty delicious meal served with mashed potatoes and greenbeens YUMMYYYYYYY I also added garlic to our hamburg, added 4 Tbls of worcestershire sauce instead of the 2 that was called for (as we didnt want a too tomatoey sause) we didnt have the dry mustard so we took a shot at adding the 1/4 tsp regular wet grey-pupon dijon mustard and we absolutely loved the taste of this sauce,it came out quite tasty and it didnt even need to be thickend at all!! We thought this recipe was absolutely scrumptious and a keeper for sure!!We will be making this again!! As always NurseDi your recipe was a winner with us!!! Deb :)

My family wasn't a big fan of the tomato sauce, but this is a good recipe nonetheless. It froze well, too.

Delicious!! I added some chopped mushrooms I needed to use up and just made 4 patties, so cut back on the other ingredients. DH asked for a thicker sauce for over mashed potatoes, so I added about half a cup of beef broth and a tablespoon of flour to thicken it up. Love the dry mustard and Worchestershire sauce and the "steaks" were great, I used extra lean hamburger and it was nice not to add a bunch of stuff to it. We will be making this again, thanks for sharing.

I thought this recipe was not only easy, but delicious. I made large meatballs instead of patties. The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire, but I used 4. For a creamier taste, a 1/2 cup of sour cream was added. Served with mashed potatoes, and used sauce as a gravy. Would also be great over egg noodles.
