I really like this meal ...nice, simple and easy to make. I added some minced ginger to mine and a little less garlic. I also used left over rice so I wouldn't have to wait for it to cook. Thank you for sharing.

Hubby and I thought this was OK but the kids enjoyed it. I followed the recipe exactly as written other then I used onion powder instead of an onion. I made it for a quick lunch. I liked that it was cooked all in one pan and it was made with ingredients that I normally have on hand.

This made a nice easy meal. i had to add an extra cup of water and it did take 15 extra minutes to cook the rice through. The flavor was quite nice. It was very easy to make with simple ingredients.

I really liked this homey dish ! I did have to add a little more water and soy sauce (personal tatse) to the rice , and it did take a bit longer than the 20 minutes to cook . Over all it was just delicious and I will make it again ! It really was quick , easy , and GOOD !!

My husband and son liked it but I was not too big on it. It took longer than the 15 minutes to cook the rice...maybe I should have used instant rice.

Loved the recipe for its simplicity. Next time, will add some veggies such as broccoli or peas.

I was looking for something different but quick to make with hamburger for a weeknight meal. Made with simple ingredients and came together quickly. Very tasty. Served it to my husband and brother and both said they liked it very much. Will definitely keep in my recipe file.

When I saw your recipe tonight I simply had to make it right then and there and it didn't disappoint me in the slightest. The directions were quite clear and I can see that the recipe could be added to according to taste quite easily. When the dish was done I did not have any "gravy" to speak of so may add just a tad bit more water next time around. I may try it with some mushrooms or maybe some sliced water chestnuts next time too but I certainly will be making it again. Thanks so much for posting such a down home comfort food.
