Directions

  1. Core and seed peppers.
  2. Peel the dry skin off the onions.
  3. Grind the peppers and onions saving the juice for this recipe.
  4. Combine all the ingredients in a large enamel or stainless steel pot.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Boil for 30 minutes, stirring often to prevent scorching and sticking.
  7. Ladle into clean hot jars leaving 1/4 inch head space.
  8. Process for 25 minutes in a boiling water bath.
  9. This will make 4 pints OR 8 half pints.
