If you love Beef Stroganoff, you"ll love this easy, family-friendly version! I got this many years from a Campbell's Cookbook.
- 1 lb gr. beef
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups cooked noodles
- Brown beef with onion, drain fat.
- Mix all ingredients together in a greased 2 quart cassreole bowl.
- bake at 400 degrees for 25 minute or until hot.
I have this exact recipe in a small, coil-bound Campbell's Soup recipe book and it's a regular favourite around our house. Quick, easy, and comforting! I usually add some minced garlic to the frying beef and then a generous splash of Worcestershire sauce once I've added the soup. YUM.
