This is a wonderful thick, creamy stew. Great for a chilly Fall day.
I really enjoyed this dish. I'm always looking for ways to use leftover ham after the holidays. I made it as written--just added a dash of pepper as I was stirring in the last ingredients. With a little salad and a crunchy piece of bread this is a hearty staisifying meal.
I've had this in my cookbook to save to try later. I needed a fast dinner tonight, happened to take out leftover ham. This is not only easy to prepare but absolutely delicious. I am so glad I tried this Thank you so much! I will definately be making this again.
Easy and *delicious* I had so much ham to use up from Thanksgiving and this recipe is a God-send, I am going to give this a try using cream of potato soup next time, I also added in fresh ground black pepper and cayenne pepper and sprinkled the top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, very good, thanks Dawn!...Kitten:)
This was great!! I used leftover spiral cut ham, I doubled the recipe. I didn't have peas and my family doesn't care for them so I used frozen corn. Will be making this often! Loved how fast this was to make!! Thanks for posting!
This was so easy! A fresh tasty thick soup that really made a great meal! I served this with a turkey sandwich and enjoyed this meal very much.
