I took the previous person's advice and cut down on the butter & apple cider. I only used about a tablespoon of butter and about 1/3 cup of the vinegar.. I thought this was excellent. And very easy to make. Thanks for the recipe.

Served this at Easter and it wasn't a hit. Too much "bite" becasue of the vinegar and mustard. Toned it down with a little nutmeg, which helped, but as the sauce sat on the table cooling, it separated, all the butter floated to the top, making it look very unapealing. Would definitely cut down on the butter. Sorry

Stirring before serving is important. Knowing this I will take a microwavable container tomorrow morning, as it is in the church fridge right now. I only changed 1 thing. Having no tomato soup, I used crushed tomatoes. This sauce is different than I had ever imagined for ham. Nice.
