These make a quick and easy lunch.
- 2 cans flakes ham
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 head lettuce, diced
- 4 green onions, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 plain croissants
- Mash the flaked ham with the mayonnaise and black pepper.
- Mix in the green onions then the lettuce.
- Split the croissants in half and fill with ham salad mixture.
So quick, easy and tasty! I've not heard of can flakes ham, so used regular ham and my food processor to chop it small. Not knowing the size of the suggested cans, I ground about a cup of ham, then added the rest of the ingredients by quartering since I was only making enough for two instead of the suggested 6. This is really a simple recipe that can be changed with seasonings to suit your taste, but we enjoyed it as is! Thanks for sharing your recipe! :)
