This was really delicious, although I don't use canned soup, so I added extra butter and flour with the sautéed onions, as well as chopped mushrooms and peppers. I didn't have any cooked potatoes on hand, so I just diced them very small and boiled for an extra 10 minutes until tender. This is going in the regular rotation!

Wow, what a great recipe Ann. We really enjoyed this hearty and filling soup. I loved using the mushroom soup as a base for the soup, made it really quick and easy to make. I didn't have any corn so I used green peas and carrots, which worked really well in this dish. Thank you for sharing your recipe we have a new family favorite.

I added a handful of cheese and chicken stock to make it where we wanted it. This is the second time I am making this month. It did not last very long the 1st time. Great way for us to use leftover ham. Thanks.

Prepared as written but found the result to be rather bland. All my ingredients were high grade - the ham wasn't leftover, I actually removed the portion needed for this before we ate the remainder on New Year's day. The basis of the recipe is okay, it just needs doctoring. So actually I'll say thanks for the recipe - I will be using it as a step-off point.

This was way too easy and tastes awesome! Everyone loved it! I doubled the recipe and used a can of cream corn instead of second can of corn. I may have added a little to much water because I had to thicken it with some corn starch. Super easy and sooo creamy!! The possibilities on variations is endless! This is a keeper, thank you for posting.

The taste was wonderful, however my batch turned out to soupy. I am going to add a can of cream corn to try to thicken up the left overs.

Simple to put together but doesn't taste like a thrown together meal. Made it as directed, but I can see that this is one where if you have some vegetables in the crisper that you need to use up, it would work well for that too. Definitely going to put this one into rotation
