Yummy! This was a very tasty dish, but loved how versatile this recipe really could be. You could really through in any kind of cheese or veggies or sausage, etc. I loved it the way it was though. It was very easy to through together, the hardest part was waiting for it to cook! :) Thanks for posting! Made for Photo Tag.
This was quite delicious ~ I like to try different quiche-type recipes as I find them very convenient. This was a FAMILY PLEASER ! I used the minced onion and skipped the dill and added a couple dashes of cayenne! Wonderful ~ thanks KuW for another great new idea! Made for PAC FALL 2009!
Made this for breakfast this morning and really enjoyed it. Swiss cheese instead of cheddar is a nice change of pace. You could do so much with this recipe. I would like to try it with sausage and pepper jack cheese. And maybe toss in some broccoli. Very adaptable.
We added mushrooms and cooked it on the big green egg. Yummy!
I love brekky's like this that go together so fast and easy, but yet look like you've spent alot of time preparing. I opted out of the onion and used shredded cheddar for my cheese. I also chose to use the cayenne pepper as I was making this for DS#1. This took all of 45 minutes to bake and I think it's most important to let it set as you suggest for the additional 10 minutes. Thanks Kerf. Made for PAC - Spring '09.
This is a great simple recipe. I had some leftover ham in the freezer that I wanted to use. I am sure it would be good with bacon as well. Thanks
this was very easy to prepare and delicious for lunch with a tossed salad. leftovers reheated well in the microwave the next day for brunch. i was liberal with the cayenne and dill, and enjoyed this very much.
This quiche/pie really hit the spot for us today at lunch. It's simple to pull together and so rich tasting. I absolutely love these dishes -- DH not as much, but with ham and cheese in it -- he was happy. Made a nice kale salad to go along with this pie. Made for the For Your Consideration tag game.
