ingredients
- 118.29 ml chopped green pepper
- 59.14 ml margarine
- 59.14 ml flour
- 2 milk
- 118.29 ml sour cream
- 473.18 ml cooked rice
- 473.18 ml cubed cooked ham
- 59.14 ml grated parmesan cheese
- 2.46 ml salt
directions
- saute peppers with butter in the skillet.
- stir in flour slowly add milk stir.
- bring to a boil.
- stir until thickened.
- reduce heat to low stir in sour cream until blended.
- stir in remaining ingredients.
- heat thoroughly.

This was really good, but I think it was a little bit bland. Now don't get me wrong, I will most definitely make it again, but next time, I would add some garlic, onions, and maybe some mushrooms and chicken. It's definitely a great start to a sauce. I served mine over rice because I wanted it to be more like a meal rather than a side dish. Thanks for putting this up, like I said, I'd make it again in a heart beat.

I made this recipe as written and I did find it bland so I added some onion, a very small clove of garlci and a dash of dill. This perked it up and even though I really liked it, the rest of the family wasn't as enthused as I was. So we took a vote and it averaged out to 4*. I would still make it again though, maybe they were just a tough crowd tonight! Thanks for sharing Pj.
