  1. Very tasty. Even the children liked it!

  2. This was great! Easy, pretty quick, and SO yummy! My 3-year-old and 7-year-old loved it, as did my husband. One substitution I made was that I used swiss cheese instead of cheddar because that's all I had on hand. It was still delicious. Thanks for a great recipe!

  3. Was tasty I liked it, added more ham and potatoes & used frozen pepper and onions as i had those on hand. Followed serving 6 instead of the serving for 12 Impressed with how little of ingredients were required for this dish. Good for left over ham and cheese only needed 1/2 cup which was plenty! Thanks!

Tweaks

  1. I sliced the potatoes thin and cooked them in garlic seasoned water. Didn't have green peppers so added orange peppers. Sauteed Fresh garlic with the onion. Added frozen peas when i added the ham. Crumpled plain potato chips on top before baking and a little more shredded cheese on top also. It was yummy.

  2. I think this is a great base recipe. I had to tweak & use what I had on hand. I will say the fam & I love flavor so I added dry sage, tyme, basil & parsley. I used cream fraiche instead of mayo, havarti creamy cheese in sauce as well as a bit sprinkled on top with parmesean. I think next time I will use equal amounts of potatoes and ham. Thanks for posting - we enjoyed.

  3. I substituted sour cream for the mayo like someone else suggested, also added some garlic powder and italian seasoning. Turned out good!

  4. Replaced the quarter cup of mayo with an equal amount of sour cream.

  5. Very good . I did add a few personal touches. I boosted flavor by adding 1/2 tsp of mustard and 1/2 tsp of paprika. I just like a little extra kick.
