ingredients
- 1⁄2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cooking oil
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup diced cooked ham (baked ham)
- 1⁄2 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon granules
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon celery seed
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Saute onions and mushrooms in cooking oil in large saucepan on medium for about 5 minutes until onion is soft.
- Add remaining 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil on medium-high.
- Reduce heat. Cover.
- Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
