Just found this and it works. Much cheaper than the real stuff and just as good. Also, if you have any left, pop it into the freezer and use it later.
- Put the melted butter into a cup measure and, when cooled, add enough milk to make one cup.
I can't tell you how many times I have used this with cooking and baking. I have saved loads of money too, which really thrills me and you would never know it wasn't store bought half and half!
This is a lifesaver for me because I use Half and Half all the time when I am cooking. Now I can make it for a fraction of the cost, which thrills me, and guess what? It works!
